Hi everybody am actually a student in computer science @ uom. I wanted to share some usefull information for those who wanted to do such course, in fact this course has been removed for the academic year 09/10 (Academic year from 10 Aout 09 up to 10 Aout 10 ) actually the university offers coursses in ComputerScienceand Computer Application.Both courses has specifice objectives.
the key to success @ uom is to work hard meaning exploring of every module every chapters every things to the maximum , books is an essential tools and internet, students who wanted to do will have to do programming it is not difficult ( if you work all labsheet) eg of one most challenging question design a word count, create a shop system. THen maths for computing it is not like maths HSC
it's mor blulky ie for example u have syllabus S1 and S2 it is done in 3 weeks
